To set up a new clock card for a user, for use with our Sense Clock, please use the following steps:

1. Download the NFC Tools application on your mobile device.

2. Open the application and select read.

3. From here, you should have a prompt saying ‘Ready to Scan’.

4. Scan the card you wish to assign to a user.

5. Once scanned, you will see the card’s serial number (Serial numbers are in the following format 04:10:EC:6D:8F:61:89).

6. Take note of the serial number, but do not include the colons ‘:’
(for example, 04:36:24:21:6F:61:80 becomes 043624216F6180).

7. Add the serial number, without the colons, to the T&A Id field in the Employment details screen for the user that you are assigning the card to.

Note: the serial number must match exactly (minus the colons) on the card and in the system or the card will not associate with the user.

8. Click save and the card is ready for use.

Troubleshooting:

- If the serial number is not 14 digits long, we may need to add a suffix to the end. Please contact our support team for guidance on this.

- If the card does not scan on an iPhone, scan it using an Android device. Androids tend to have better capabilities when it comes to scanning NFC cards.
