Introduction
The Events App lets you easily request time off or schedule work-related events such as meetings, training sessions, and more. You can view your leave entitlements and upcoming events for you and your team. It's a simple, centralised way to manage attendance and scheduling.
How it works
Log in to the app, arrive at the mobile dashboard and select the Events tile.
Here are the options displayed:
Booking events
If you are a manager or admin, clicking ‘Book Event’ will first prompt you to choose whether to book for yourself or for someone else you have access to, before then going to the next screen.
If you do not have this access, selecting ‘Book Event’ will take you directly to the next screen, where you’ll choose the event and its duration: less than a day, a full day, or multiple days.
Based on your selection, the next screen will adjust accordingly - whether that means entering a start and end date, selecting specific start and end times, choosing the first or second half of a shift, or editing the duration if you're on a no-work pattern. This ensures the booking process is tailored to your working setup.
Viewing entitlements
You can also view your entitlements with this app:
My Events
Selecting 'My Events' will take you to a list of your upcoming events and their status (Pending or Approved). You can also select to view your past events from the last 6 months.
My Teams Upcoming Events
Selecting this will show you a list of the next 35 upcoming events from your team.
