Mobile App - Overview

This article provides a full overview of the mobile app including all of the tiles and their functionalities.

Download and Login

To download the SenseHR mobile app, simply visit your app store (android or IOS) and search 'Sense Workplace'

Open the app once it has downloaded and you will be presented with the following screen that asks for your log in email and a 6 digit verification code.

Your code will come to you via an email that your HR administrator provides.

If you have not received this email containing your code, please speak to your HR. This is a one time code for first time registration on the app so this won't be required for any future logins.

Home Screen

Once you have successfully logged into the mobile app, you will be presented with this screen. Simply tap on the tile you wish to interact with the open that section.

Events

Book Event - This area allows you to;

Request an event to be authorised, this could be a holiday event or any other event type available in the dropdown list.

View Entitlements

This area allows you to view your own annual leave entitlement as well as any additional entitlements you have.

People

This area allows you to view the list of employee records. Simply tap on the name of the person to view their details on the mobile app.

To Do's

In this area, you can create and assign tasks, view and action your open tasks and also view the history of past completed tasks.

Create a task - Select this option to open the form and start filling in the details of the task name, description, category and completion date.

Once you have provided these details and tapped 'Save' you will then see the following screen to show that this was successful.

To Do - Tap into this section to view and action any of your existing tasks.

Once you are viewing your task list, tap into the task you wish to update. This could be a system generated task like an event request or sickness acknowledgement, or this could be a custom task e.g. a new starter induction.

Sickness

In this area you can raise a sickness event to your manager, simply complete the fields for 'Reason' and 'Notes'.

Once you select 'Notify Manager' this will add a to do for them to action the acknowledgement for this event.

Settings

Within the setting section you have 3 options you can enable

Biometric authentication - Allows you to verify your app login with your mobile devices biometrics e.g. finger print and face ID

Location tracking using BLE - This allows your mobile device to connect to an access gateway using bluetooth to provide a clock in location for time and attendance tracking (Only required if using Sense Time and Attendance)

Location tracking using GPS - This allows your device to provide location data for clock in/outs using your mobile devices GPS functionality.
