Anviz Clock - How to Apply a Static IP

This is a step by step guide for how to apply a static IP for your Anviz Clock

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When using an Anviz device, we recommend using a static IP to prevent any IP address changes on your network from affecting the clock transmission.

To change the IP settings on your Anviz device from dynamic to static:

1. Press the M button

2. Enter the admin username and password

Note: Please reach out to our support team if you are unsure on these credentials

3. Navigate to Network and press OK

4. Navigate to WiFi, or ethernet if that is the connection method, and select OK

5. Scroll down to the DHCP field

6. Use the right arrow to disable the DHCP option

7. Now you will be able to enter your static IP address

Note: The IP address used should be designated specifically to this device to prevent any duplication of IPs.

8. When the new IP address is entered, press the M button

9. A ‘WIFI configuration complete’ message will show before taking you back to the admin network screen.

10. Go back into WIFI options to ensure the new IP address has remained in the field.
