Admin - Dashboard Overview

This article will summarise the information displayed on the Overview section of the Administrators dashboard to get a better understanding.

Updated this week

Overview

The dashboard overview is made up of a multitude of widgets. Your overview will contain the same widgets as the example below.

My To Do's

The 'My To-Do's' widget will allow you to view and manage your tasks and actions from across the system, directly from your dashboard. This can include anything from approving event requests, actioning return to works, completing new starter onboarding tasks and much more.

The dashboard will be specific to your personal To Do's. If you wish to see more, you can click 'Go to To Do's' at the bottom of the widget to visit the main To Do's area. As an administrator you will have full visibility of all system To Do's from there.

Activity Feed

The activity feed section will give you a snapshot of recent system activities such as birthdays, new starters, leavers, news being posted, changes to key employee details and much more. This is a great way to keep your fingers on the pulse when it comes to HR updates across the business.

This is also a great way to catch up on any key things that may have transpired within the system when you return from a period of leave or absence.

Team

In the team tab, you can see a list of all of your fellow team members as well as any direct reports that sit under you. You will also see displayed next to each team member, their working status for the day e.g. Working, On Leave, Absent, Maternity and plenty more.

This is a great way for anyone to glance at their dashboard and know immediately who is available at work on this current day and will therefore save you time in tracking peoples whereabouts.

Sick Leave

An optional dashboard widget you may wish to implement into your system is the 'Sick Leave' widget.

With this enabled, you and all employees will have a dashboard quick action to log a sickness and raise and alert to the line manager to action an acknowledgement of this sick event.

Employees simply click the 'Notify Manager' option and will be presented with a short form to complete (in the image below).

My Documents

This section will give you an overview of your personal documents with the most recent items displaying at the top e.g. your most recent payslip. If you have any document actions to complete such as read and sign, you will see these actions in your 'To Do's'

You can also use the link at the bottom 'Go to Documents' to be navigate directly to the documents section within your employee profile. Here you will be able to see the entirety of your document history.

Upcoming events

This section will display any upcoming events you have booked in your planner, this could be Holidays, Meetings, Training Sessions, Working From Home and many other things.

If you wish to visit the calendar to get a full view of all upcoming and past events, you can navigate there directly from your dashboard by clicking the 'Go to Calendar' link at the bottom of this widget.
