To create an interview within your vacancies using AMI by following these steps.
Step 1
Click into an existing vacancy within the 'Vacancies' tab on the left-hand menu, or select 'Add' to start creating a new vacancy.
Step 2
Click into the 'Interview' tab you click into the vacancy to populate or make changes.
Step 3
Click 'Setup interview' to start creating your interview template with AMI. You have already provided the vacancy details she will use to help you construct an interview tailored to this job role.
Step 4
The AMI window will open in a new browser tab. Depending on your browser you may need to disable pop-up's as these can prevent this from opening. Type in the chat box 'Lets get started' to begin the process.
Step 5
By typing in the chat, provide a score of 1 - 10 on each of the values AMI presents to allow her allocate weightings of importance to each one for this role.
Step 6
AMI will then provide a review of your feedback and identify key categories to focus on for the next step, creating the interview. She will also provide an opportunity for any questions or requests from yourself at this stage.
You can ask or request things such as adding more categories to consider, adjust your scoring, provide more information for her to consider in addition to what's held in the job description, business internal such as your timescale you want for the application, the style of questions you want to aim to include.
Step 7
Once you have no further questions or things to add, simply ask to proceed.
Step 8
AMI will then generate the first question. If you are happy with the question and the acceptance criteria, you can simply ask to proceed to the next question, or you can provide your requests through the chat.
If you have provided specific instructions, suggestions or answer criteria examples, AMI will then factor these into her response and provide the adjustments before then asking if you want to proceed. You can continue to adjust the question until you are 100% happy to move on to the next one. Once you are, simply ask to proceed.
Step 9
Repeat this process to capture all of your questions, AMI typically creates a set questions by default in alignment with how many key categories were identified in the earlier stages, but you can request to create as many as you like. This can also be detailed in your earlier instructions to AMI in previous stages.
Once all of the questions are set you will be presented with the following to confirm the interview is now saved against the vacancy.
You can now close down the AMI window and find the preview of the interview saved in the 'Interview' tab of the vacancy where you opened AMI from originally behind the 'Preview' button. Applicants responses will also be saved in here as well as against their own applicant profile.
