Employee – How to cancel a Holiday

This article explains how to cancel a holiday request that has been approved for the future.

Step 1 – Go to Calendar or Planner.

From your dashboard, go to either your team calendar selected from the main left-hand menu (Shown Below) or your planner in ‘My Profile’

(To get to ‘My Profile’ click on your name in the top right-hand corner and select ‘My Profile’ from the dropdown menu)


Step 2 – Select the event.

Once in either the Calendar or Planner, find the Holiday event you wish to cancel and click on it, you will then be shown the options as displayed in the screenshot below.

Step 3 – View event details.

Click the Bin/Delete icon in the top right-hand corner. You will then be presented with the following screen to confirm your action.

Step 4 – Confirm action.

Click ‘Discard’ highlighted in blue, to confirm the action. You will then see the following final confirmation message appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
