This article is to introduce an employee to the SenseHR system to access all essential areas and functions for a first time user.

Introduction to SenseHR

1. FIRST TIME ACCESS

To gain access to SenseHR, you will first receive the following ‘Welcome Email’

Click the link labelled ‘Click here’ to go to the registration page where you will create your password for all future log-ins.

The registration page will appear like the image below, simply enter your email to register and click next to proceed to the password creation screen.

Once you have successfully registered your email and created your password, you will then proceed to log-in and arrive at your dashboard.

2. MY DASHBOARD

Your dashboard is designed to give you quick access to all the essential features you will interact with.

To do’s – All of your outstanding and overdue tasks will show here and you can directly interact with and complete these ‘to do’s’ from your dashboard.

These will likely include your return to work/self cert tasks, document signatures, performance reviews and many more.

My documents – Access your personal documents from your profile here.

My Team – See your teams working/non-working status for today.

Attendance – To clock in and out of your timesheets each day.

Holiday – To view your entitlement and easily request a new holiday event.

Upcoming events – See what the next upcoming events in your personal planner are.

News – See news posted internally by your HR team.

3. LEFT HAND NAVIGATION MENU

Dashboard – The area you will default to when you first log in. From here you can interact with your tasks, documents and events.

To do – The area where you can access your full task library including all past completed tasks as well as all future outstanding tasks with the ability to filter based on type, status and due date.

Calendar – The area where you can see all events across your team. The best place to see the availability across the team for when you are planning/booking your own events.

Documents – The area where you can access both your library of personal documents assigned to you, as well as the library of shared company documents that are available to your group such as policies etc.

Org chart – The area where you can see the organisational structure. A good place to see who reports to who, where new starters sit and where moves across the business have happened.

4. MY PROFILE

To access your profile, click on your name in the top right corner and select the option ‘Manage profile’

Once in your profile you will see a new navigation menu on the left-hand side to select which profile area you want to visit.

Overview – This is essentially a summary of all of the key parts of your profile.

To do – This is another area where you can view and manage your personally assigned tasks.

Personal details – Here you can view your personal information and inform HR if any of this needs to be updated.

Contact details – Here you can add and maintain your personal contact details for your HR.

Documents – Here you can view and download any of your personal documents such as contracts, payslips, training certificates etc.

Pay details – Here you will see your salary/rate of pay details.

Benefits – Here you will see the details of any salary sacrifice benefits you contribute to.

Training – Here you will see the details of any training, completed, ongoing or outstanding that you have assigned to you.

Bank details - Here you can add and maintain your personal bank details for your HR.

Company equipment – Here you can see the details of the equipment/assets assigned to you e.g. laptop, mobile phone, protective equipment etc.

Other contact details - Here you can add and maintain your emergency and next of kin contact details for your HR.

5. Exit your profile

To exit your profile and return to your dashboard any time, just click the ‘House’ icon in the top left.

6. Help & Support

To access the knowledge base library of 'how to' guides and videos as well as the live chat feature to speak to a member of our support team, click on your name in the top right corner and select the option 'Help' from the dropdown.

Once you click this option you will then be taken to the knowledge base web page which you can also access any time via this URL - https://support.sense.hr/
